Forthcoming Events



We are to hold a Gundog Working Test under KC rules and regulations. The Working test is planned for late spring next year.


The club is also planning a FT training day in Norfolk later on this season.


Pointing and hare training days are planned for the coming Spring, to be held at the ever popular ground of Knettishall, for details contact Tracie Rickman the Working Sec.


Visit http://www.hprftinfo.co.uk/ for details of working events e.g. Field Trials and Training days that are held by other HPR clubs/societies/associations as well as the HWVCGB. These events are often open to HWV's even if you are not a member of their club/society/assoc.

Puppy/Novice training day with Jim Bird

To be held near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

An informal day for handlers starting HPR training or for a young dog whose training is already under way and needs to gain more experience. Water work will be included in the day.

Places are limited so book your place ASAP !!

The 2nd HWVCGB Limit Show – Judge Mrs. S Pike (Zilvarson)

Muskham Village Community Centre, North Muskham

Following on from the first Limited Show last year the Club held a further Limited Show. The Show was held at North Muskham Village Community Centre, North Muskham, Nottinghamshire – minutes off the A1 near Newark.

The AGM of the Club took place on Sunday 7th April, 2013 at North Muskham Village Hall, Nr Nottingham commencing at 10.00 a.m. Fully paid up members were invited to attend. Those exhibitors who were attending the Limited Show on Sunday, were invited to join the committee for Lunch, provided by the committee.

1ST PEARSON - LANSPAR ZOKON 15 month boy with good colour but not a big dog.

Good head, front, bone, tight feet, strong back end. Moved well.

YEARLING DOG

1ST WILD – HERLINGA HARLAN Nearly 2 year boy well balanced with good outline, feet, bone, depth and moderate size.

Good turn of stifle, good colour and plenty of coat. Moved very well driving round the ring. BD. RBIS


POST GRADUATE DOG - No Entries


LIMIT DOG

1ST STOCKWELL – LEIBORSCHY SYRUS 2 and a half year boy. Liked his head with good outline, straight topline, moderate front, good depth, tight feet. Moved well from strong hindquarters.


OPEN DOG

1ST WHITING – ZOLDMALI VADASZ AT CRAIGVILLE 4 year boy, but not big. Good colour, feet, bone with moderate turn of stifle. Good shoulders with strong neck. Moved well.

1ST LAWSON/WRIGHT – Zoldmali Cersli - 7 months. Just a baby. Good head and very well put together. Strong front,  good depth, still more maturing to do. Moved very well which won her this class. RPIS

1ST MUNDAY/SPALDING – DEIFSTOCK DOLCE VITA AT KUBEAR Medium size and very balanced. Liker her very much. Good colour, head, strong neck, front depth, back end and tight feet. Moved well. Will follow her with interest. BPIS

1ST EVANS – MORGANA TOFFEE CRISP AT CANTERWAY What a shame the handler could not get together with her dog. A lot to like about her. Moderate size, nice head, good shoulders, topline, good stifles and feet with a strong coat. it was difficult to assess her, but could see a nice bitch.

1ST NEWMAN - MORGANNA ALLSPICE Good bitch. Liked head with strong neck, front, shoulders, topline. Well bodied, good spring of rib and bone and thick coat. Moved well driving from behind giving a very balanced

dog well put together. BB. BIS.


OPEN BITCH

1ST PEARSON –GLADDENFIELD VHIANA BELLE Handler had to work hard. Medium size, good depth, strong neck, shoulders with moderate front and tight feet. Movement OK.


SPECIAL WORKING BITCH

1ST COOPER – ELERRINA ELENYA AT DEIFSTOCK 5 year bitch. So well put together. Good head, feet, depth and strong backend. Confirmation was good but so important in this breed, lacked coat. Moved very well.
